‍By Metro to Music – a summer concert series brings joy to East Helsinki

The cantors of the Herttoniemi, Mikael, Vuosaari and Matteus parishes have once again prepared a diverse and high-quality summer concert series for the enjoyment of East Helsinki residents.

In summer 2026, Tuesday evenings will feature for example magnificent organ concerts, skilful mood-setting performances on the concert kantele, and delicate chamber music moments in the beautiful churches of East Helsinki.

Admission to the concerts is free. Voluntary programme contributions are used to cover the artists’ fees. The performers are also thanked with unique By Metro to Music woollen socks, handmade by volunteers in the parishes’ handicraft groups.
